Violet Ann Jensen

Violet Ann Hiler Jensen, age 66 returned to be with the Lord on June 29, 2012.

She is survived by one daughter, Selene E. Faravardeh (Arman) Faravardeh, and one grand-daughter, Serena Faravardeh.

She married her love Sid Jensen on June 26, 1981, and is step mother to Kim Jensen, Dea Jensen and Renee Jensen of Omaha Nebraska.

Violet was born the oldest daughter of five children to Ralph and Martha Pannell Hiler.

Violet is also survived by her mother, Martha J.Hiler, Pocatello, Idaho; and her three brothers, Ralph (Geri) Hiler II, Richmond, California; Roderick (Donna Herrick) Hiler, Astoria Oregon; Noah(Judy) Hiler, Blackfoot, Idaho; She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Hiler Sr. and sister Marietta Richardson.

Violet graduated from Al Hambra High School in California. After high school, Violet enjoyed the opportunity to travel, and eventually found herself in Alaska for a time, where her daughter was born. During her childhood and adult life, Violet also lived in California, Idaho, Colorado, Iowa and Massachusetts. She was a Christian and loved reading the Bible and learning the Word.

Violet always had a life time dream of becoming a Lawyer or a Ballerina. Violet enjoyed activities such as gardening and bird watching. She was learning to draw and paint, and loved to read and learn and listen to music. Violet loved life and lived each moment to help other people. She was a mentor and believed in investing in other people and always looking after those who needed it.

For the services, family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 noon to 12:45 p.m. followed by Funeral Memorial Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N.12th Ave. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
